Horsham, Pennsylvania – April 18, 2012 – Mace Security International, Inc. (“Mace” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: MACE) today announced the SIA trainer certification of Brendan Burrows, Training and Licensing/Compliance Manager of Mace Central Station (“Mace CS”), the Company’s wholesale monitoring station located in Anaheim, California. Mr. Burrows was recently awarded the designation of Certified SIA Trainer with the completion of the central monitoring station instructors course developed by the SIA in collaboration with the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (“APCO”) Institute. In connection with his certification, Mr. Burrows has developed a program to administer the SIA-APCO central station operators course (“Operators Course”) to our Mace CS professionals. The Operators Course provides our Mace CS team members with standardized core skills and knowledge to efficiently and effectively handle alarm signals and aid end-user subscribers.
